DODUDS APPAREL DRIVES
at Embroidery Mart

Each year, NNEP hosts a DoDuds Apparel Drive at Embroidery Mart for the Embroidery Network Foundation. Donate NEW clothing, blank or decorated. All collected apparel items will be sent directly to women's shelters, as they have great need for new apparel for women and children in all sizes. Imagine what a difference we can make if everyone brings at least one item!

Attendees and exhibitors bring and donate new apparel (blank or decorated) and other items for families that are staying in women's shelters. The apparel drive in 2010 was incredible! Many brought a box full of items, or several boxes filled with items that were no longer needed in their businesses. In 2011, over 80 pounds of new goods were collected. Here is what the NNEP office looked like before the goods were organized and shipped from a DoDuds Drive in 2008:

In 2009, we sorted the donated items during the drive, and everything shipped to the shelters directly from the Drive held in Columbus, Ohio. 101 Pounds of donations went to Jackson, Mississippi; 121 pounds went to Douglas, Wyoming; 58 pounds went to Toledo, Ohio and 141 pounds went to Laramie, Wyoming.

If you have any information about a service or facility that would benefit from donations of new apparel items, please email us! We will add them to the list of recipients.

Hooper Collectibles
The sale of Hooper Collectible figurines is one of the primary fundraisers for Embroidery Network Foundation, which supports Women's Shelters across the United States. Support this program by making a donation to the ENF at Embroidery Mart. As you enjoy Hooper's sunny disposition, you will be reminded that you have played a role in adding a smile to another.
