Q - What is EMBROIDERY MART?
A - Embroidery Mart is a national trade show featuring 1000's of products from your favorite suppliers for your commercial embroidery business and/or apparel decoration business. Embroidery Mart - EAST is in Nashville on July 27-28, 2012.

Companies showcasing equipment (embroidery, direct garment printing, screen printing, rhinestone, laser engraving, sublimation, heat press), digitizing software, blank goods, supplies and services are exhibiting at Embroidery Mart.

Embroidery Mart is your answer to "how do I boost sales and expand my business?"! When you attend Embroidery Mart, you receive immediate information and feedback, you network with suppliers and peers face-to-face and you check out the latest in the apparel decoration industry!

Come to the Trade Show ready to do business with the suppliers. Bring lots of business cards. Prepare a credit application that includes all the pertinent information about your company, such as your federal tax ID#, credit references, companies with whom you already have Net 30 terms established.

Walk the entire trade show once. If you have time after that, walk it again, going in the opposite direction. Sounds strange, but many folks see things they missed the first time around! If an exhibitor is busy, stop back when you can have the access and time you need to make sure that all your questions are answered. Look at how products are displayed, get ideas for your business. Wear your work - and comfy shoes! It is a great opportunity to showcase what you do, among people who will recognize and appreciate it!

Q - Are there TWO Embroidery Marts this year?
A - Not in 2012. We are hosting Embroidery Mart only in Nashville this year.

Q - Who can attend Embroidery Mart?
A - Everyone already involved in the commercial embroidery industry or apparel decoration industries, and everyone interested in commercial embroidery and apparel decoration as a business.

NNEP membership is NOT required to attend. NNEP members get in free - it is a member benefit!

Future apparel decorators under the age of 14 are not permitted in the Embroidery Mart exhibit hall or in the classes. All minors 14+ must show proof of age to register and be accompanied by an adult to enter the Embroidery Mart exhibit hall or Classes.

Q - When is it?
A - Embroidery Mart is July 27-28, 2012 at the Nashville Convention Center, located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

Q - When is the Trade Show open?
A - The Trade Show is open Friday from 10 AM - 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM. FREE classes are at 8:45 AM & 11:30 AM on Friday & Saturday.

Q - Should I pre-register before Embroidery Mart?
A - Pre-registration to attend the Embroidery Mart is not required. When you pre-register by June 15, 2012, we know you are attending and we will have a trade show directory ready for you when you arrive in Nashville. The directories are printed at the end of June. Pre-registration closes a few days before the show. Once pre-registration ends, you CAN register at the door, for the same fee, although you may not receive the Embroidery Mart directory.

Q - Can I register at Embroidery Mart?
A - YES! Registration is open from 2 - 6:00 PM on Thursday, 8:15 AM - 5 PM on Friday & Saturday at the Nashville Convention Center.

Q - How do I register for Embroidery Mart?
A - Register online or by mail, fax or phone (800-866-7396). When you register ONLINE, you will receive an acknowledgement of your registration by email. If you register by phone, fax or mail, you will NOT be mailed an acknowledgement when you register for the Trade Show.

Q - How much?
A - Registration is $20/person (aged 14+ required) for Embroidery Mart. Your registration covers BOTH DAYS at the Embroidery Mart Trade Show and all the FREE classes presented by Exhibitors. If you are a current member of the National Network of Embroidery Professionals (NNEP), registration is free for everyone that attends from your organization, it is a membership benefit!
FYI - NNEP membership is not required to attend.

Q - Where can I stay?
A - To make hotel reservations in NASHVILLE at the Renassiance Hotel, which is attached to the Nashville Convention Center, call 1-800-327-6618 or 615-255-8400. Request the group rate ($149/night) for "Embroidery Mart." The group rate expires July 10, 2012 or when the block or hotel sells out, whichever comes first. FYI - The hotel usually sells out during this event. Make your reservations early to stay at the Renaissance!

Q - What airport is the closest?
A - To make air travel arrangements, call your travel agent or check online for competitive airfares. Fly into Nashville Internationational Airport (BNA). Catch a cab or shuttle to the Renaissance Hotel or the Nashville Convention Center (they are connected).

Q - What is the DoDuds Apparel Drive?
A - Each year, NNEP hosts a DoDuds Apparel Drive at Embroidery Mart for the Embroidery Network Foundation. Donate NEW clothing, blank or decorated. All collected apparel items are donated to women's shelters, as they have great need for new apparel in all sizes, for women and children. Imagine what a difference we can make if everyone brings at least one item!

Q - What are Hooper Collectibles?
A - The sale of Hooper Collectible figurines is one of the primary fundraisers for Embroidery Network Foundation, which supports Women's Shelters across the United States. Support this program by making a donation to ENF at Embroidery Mart. As you enjoy Hooper's sunny disposition, you will be reminded that you have played a role in adding a smile to another.

Q - Where can I eat?
A - A consesssion area offering sandwiches, snacks and drinks is open for lunch on Friday & Saturday at Embroidery Mart. The hotel also offers a full service restaurant. Enjoy meals with the embroiderers and apparel decorators you meet in the classes or at the Trade Show. It is a great opportunity to connect with fellow business owners and decorators in a noncompetitive environment!

Q - Can my kids attend?
A - No. The purpose of the Embroidery Mart is to conduct business. It is not set up to handle the needs of children, nor are child care services provided. You will need to make your own arrangements for child care while at this event. Displays pose a possible danger with equipment, breakable items and stainable items. Future apparel decorators under the age of 14 will not be permitted in the Embroidery Mart exhibit hall or in the classes. All minors 14+ must show proof of age to register and be accompanied by an adult to enter the Embroidery Mart exhibit hall or Classes. Please note this policy is strictly enforced - babes in arms and tots in strollers are not permitted in the trade show or the classes.
